Death Reaper Hoodie (All Black)

The Death Reaper Hoodie is the culmination of 18 months of painstaking revisions to design a hoodie that was on pair with the top designers in the world. We started with three of our favorite silhouettes from our favorite hoodie designers: Rick Owens, Vetements, and Gucci. We then carefully selected our favorite elements from each design and combined them to form the first pattern. From there we reconstructed the hoodie two more times to ensure the dimensions matched our exact specifications. It wasn’t simply a look we were aiming for, it was a feel. By the third attempt we had achieved the look and feel that was unique to Deathside. We tried two different embroideries, three different types of cotton, weights, and even finishes to get exactly what we wanted. This hoodie has a slightly oversized feel with dropped shoulders and “bat wings” for that lofty feeling we want in a comfortable hoodie. We oversized the hood to make it feel like we were Death incarnate hidden from the elements when put on. As fashion heads we wanted a hood that could block out the world when we want to just listen to our AirPods and not be bothered by weirdos trying to intrude on our personal space. We decided on a full zip for maximum drip and a slight crop in the back to give a more elevated look. We also extended the length of the sleeves to make sure we had a slightly baggier street vibe. And to finish it off we chose to embroider our custom Death Reaper Logo on the hood with a 50,000+ stitch count to make sure everyone knows you repping Deathside when you come mobbing down the street or into the underground rave. The entire vision of Deathside started with this hoodie and we refused to release the brand til it was perfect. A lot of energy was put into this design to make sure it matched the level we’re trying to achieve as a brand. We decided to drop a simple all black version with no logos besides the embroidery for those that like to keep it simple but high quality.
